Men's golf wins West Regional title

The No. 2 men's golf team might be peaking at just the right time. The Trojans captured the NCAA West Regional at the Gold Mountain Golf Course in Bremerton, Wash., by firing a 2-under-par 862 (291-283-288) from Thursday to Saturday. This is the first time the men's golf team has ever captured an NCAA tournament title, and it marks the Trojans' fourth win in their last six tournaments. (0) comments

Women's golf captures 11th NCAA berth

The No. 1 USC women's golf team won its third straight tournament by capturing the NCAA West Regional at the Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Lincoln, Calif., on May 10. This marks the 11th straight national championship berth for the team, and the third straight season the Women of Troy have won their regional tournament by leading in every round. (3) comments

USC sweeps defending national champ OSU

Baseball stays hot with its fifth straight win in its last homestand of the season.

In what has been a rollercoaster ride of a season for the USC baseball team, the Trojans broke out the brooms in their final homestand, sweeping two-time NCAA defending champion Oregon State on Sunday afternoon. The three-game series against the Beavers started with the Trojans recording their 700th win at Dedeaux Field on Friday. (0) comments

Women's tennis loses to the Bruins at NCAAs

The Women of Troy made it to the Round of 16 for the 10th straight year.

After posting wins over Marist and Pepperdine in the first two rounds of the NCAA Championships, the No. 10 USC women's tennis team was defeated by No. 7 UCLA, 4-0, in the Round of 16 on Thursday. It was the Women of Troy's 10th straight appearance in the NCAA Round of 16, making them only the second team to do so. (0) comments

Women's rowing places sixth at Pac-10s

USC did not place higher than third in any race at the Pac-10 Championships.

The defending Pac-10 Champion USC women's rowing team could not repeat the feat this year as it finished sixth overall at the Pac-10 Rowing Championships on Sunday at Lake Natoma in Sacramento. The Women of Troy finished 29 points behind the winner, California. (0) comments

For the USC men's and women's track teams, individual results were better than team results at the Pac-10 Championships in Tempe, Ariz., last weekend. The women's team finished fourth in the competition with 91 points, while the men finished seventh with 69. (0) comments
