After a week that saw each quarterback competing for the starting position make his share of mistakes, USC coaches gave their signal-callers the chance to sling the ball in the first scrimmage of the spring. Kansas and Memphis play for the national championship tonight in what is, by all accounts, a premier matchup. But in Los Angeles, something seems a little off. The No. 11 men's volleyball team upset No. 5 Pepperdine for its third straight win.

Playoff spot? Clinched. Second straight upset over a top-five team? Check. Momentum? Snowballing. Needless to say, it was a good weekend for the No. 11 USC men's volleyball team. The Trojans came back from a 2-0 deficit Saturday night to upset No. 5 Pepperdine in Malibu in the final game (31-33, 25-30, 30-27, 31-29, 17-15) - their second major upset in as many games and their third straight victory. Men's tennis remains undefeated at home, in Pac-10 action

The No. 5 Trojans were led by their top-3 players in wins over Cal and Stanford.

Maybe it was the band's presence Friday or the large crowds Friday and Saturday, but something felt special at Marks Stadium this weekend. The No. 5 men's tennis team extended its winning streak to eight matches as it posted wins over No. 25 Stanford, 6-1, and No. (0) comments
