Nightlife For A Cause, a new event coordinating company on USC's campus that donates 20 percent of each event's profit to a charity of its choice, held its first promotional party last Jan. 31 at Vanguard in Hollywood. Viterbi joins effort to probe airport security

New research institute aims to evaluate and improve methods of airport security.

The USC Viterbi School of Engineering signed an agreement in December that will link USC, two Korean universities, Korean Air and General Electric to explore developments in tighter airport security. The four-player partnership, named the Korean Air/General Electric Research Institute for International Collaboration, does not have a physical location. (0) comments
