A retail store frequented by USC students, located slightly more than half a mile from campus on Figueroa Street, is closing its doors after nearly three years of service. Girl Named Bo, a women's clothing and accessories boutique located in the Texere Plaza, will close by Jan. (3) comments

USC's Annenberg School for Communication celebrated the return of World Press Photo, an exhibition of winning photographs from the world's largest and most prestigious photojournalism competition, with a reception attended by many of the featured photographers. (1) comment

Marshall students study Tournament of Roses

When USC plays in the Rose Bowl, the tournament makes less money.

The Marshall School of Business' Sports Business Institute has partnered with the Tournament of Roses to study the economic impact of the Rose Bowl, Tournament of Roses Parade and related events on the City of Pasadena. The study will examine demographic information, such as ethnicity, age, length of stay and expenditure of those who attend the parade and football game, said Mitch Dorger, CEO of the Tournament of Roses.
