PROTESTERS don't deserve sympathy I cannot believe the gall of the student who complained that the university did not treat the protesters as adults ("Protesters relent under threat of suspension," April 11). Put this into perspective: My high school math teacher made as much money in a year as some professional athletes make in a week. Although I love sports, it doesn't change my disgust for the lopsided salaries of pro athletes.
